Sourcing from Finest Origins

We source the finest quality by our own team on the ground that inspect the quality thoroughly and maintain high quality of nuts. Our cashews are sourced from no chemical, no GMO and excellent soil quality farms.

 

Strict Moisture Controls

Once procured, the nuts go through an extensive process of sun drying, steaming, softening and cooling to ensure the highest quality of cashew nut from them.

We have invested in warehouses & built world class drying facilities to handle our cashews with outmost care.

Shelling

The cashews undergo strict moisture control before shelling. They are dried for days under the sun, steamed  & left to cool down in open air overnight. The team then uses shelling machines to crack open the shell. We ensure high safety measure by providing castor oil and gloves against the cashew nut shell liquid.

Baking

The cashews are spread onto metal trays & baked in an oven at a fixed temperature. The high-tech ovens are powered using the cashew nut shell cake to burn the boiler in place of coal which saves about 7000 MT of coal per annum. The cashews are cooled overnight before the next stage of peeling.

Peeling

Peeling is carried out through machines, as well as manually to increase efficiency and minimize cashew loss. The trained team gently use a peeling knife to peel the skin being careful not to damage the cashews.

Grading

The cashews are then graded with the help of sensory machines and manually sorted by the team. They are graded based on colour, size, texture, shape and are classified into 26 grades according to international grading levels. The best nuts go into the making of the gretel nuts.

Sprouting

Unlike normal nuts, these superfoods are ‘sprouted’, which awakens the nutrients & minerals. The process reduces phytic acid found in nuts, which inhibits digestion and blocks the absorption of minerals. By activation and removal of this acid,  it results in easier digestion and much higher absorption of nutrients and minerals in our body.

Packaging

We produce in small batches with high inventory management and rotation to ensure the freshness, taste, appearance, and quality of each pack. Our packs are tightly zip-locked with oxygen absorbent to retain the crunch of each product.
